We have a VMM 2012 SP1 Update Rollup 1 (I Think) on Windows Server 2012. Remote DB on SQL Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012. DKM is on Active Directory.
We want simplify the VMM setup with local DB and also upgrade both Windows and VMM. Is this scenario valid?
* Backup VMM database
* Backup VMM library content
* Shutdown VMM server
* Install new server with Windows Server 2012 R2
* Install SQL server 2012 SP1
* Copy old VMM database and Import in new server
* Copy old VMM library content to new server
* Install ADK 8.1
* Install VMM 2012 R2
Have I missed something or is there an easier way to do this?
