Hi all,
I'm currently having issues in our VMM environment in adding an xml answer file to any of the library shares on our library server cluster.
We use VMM 2012 R2 in a two-node management cluster on WS2012, with a separate two-node SQL cluster back-end, and a two-node library server cluster running WS2012.
I have upgraded VMM from 2012 to 2012 R2, but I am now unable to add an answer file to any of the library shares, and when I click 'Import' I receive the following error:
"Path <library share path> is not on a library share that is managed by VMM Server. Provide a path on a library share. ID:24338"
I have been looking for instances of other people seeing this, and from those results I have tried removing the library server cluster from VMM entirely, and then re-adding it afterwards, but I still receive the same error. Creating a new share and
adding it to VMM does not help, and I have checked the permissions on the share and the NTFS permissions, but these should be sufficient for the server to access everything. Note that I had not tried to add any physical resources to the library before
the upgrade, so that was not tested at that time. Virtual disks are detected on the library shares without any issues, VMs can be created from the VM templates, and the 'default resources' (i.e. WebDeploy and Server App-V) are added to the library shares
without any issues when the shares are added to VMM.
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions that anyone has.
Many thanks
