I created a VM and installed Server 2012 and loaded Symantec EP to be saved as out base template. I joined it to the domain activated it assigned a static IP while prepping it. Once I saved it as a template and try to deploy a new VM to a cloud using that template nothing seems to take effect, it’s not joined to the domain, no IP is assigned in the OS.
I do see that an IP was assigned to the VM object in SCVMM via the IP Pool, but it never makes its way into the VMs OS.
What am I doing wrong here? There seems to be very little to no docs on how this all works, little frustrating...
