VM Deployment getting Failed after UR6

Hello All,

We were using SCVMM 2012 R2 with UR5, and VMs were getting successfully deployed from template using the SCVMM and also using App Controller 2012 R2.

But after upgrading the environment to UR6 of SCVMM 2012 R2, VM deployment is getting failed again and again.

I’ve tried deploying the VM using SCVMM and App Controller, but it fails either way. It gets stuck on the Step 1.4 Customize virtaul machine is 71% completed, and over-all job status is 95% completed.

Following is the error:

Error (609)
Virtual Machine Manager cannot detect a heartbeat from the specified virtual machine. Either the virtual machine is not running or Virtual Machine Additions is not installed.

Recommended Action
Verify the status of the virtual machine by connecting to it using Virtual Machine Remote Client (VMRC), and then try the operation again.

Is this some issue with the UR6 of SCVMM 2012 R2?
