I have deployed scvmm many times without any major issues which i could not solve.
But recently i came across an error:
Error (403)
SCVMMST1 is not a valid network computer name.
Recommended Action
Only fully qualified domain names and NETBIOS computer names are valid. An IP address is valid only for hosts on a perimeter network, ESX hosts, and hosts joined to the domain by using an IPv6 address. Check the computer name, and try the operation again.
As you can see SCVMMST1 is my stamp name for the scvmm in cluster mode. I can do everything else in the vmm except adding hosts. I am assuming if i cant even add the host there is some thing major wrong with the deployment.
I disabled all firewall rules on hosts as well as scvmm servers.
VMM is up to date. Anyone else faced this issue or could guide me what I should do or look at to fix this.
I suppose I could start over with a new deployment but it will be good to know the fix.
