Error when deploying VM using template (22582)

Hi all,

I am getting the below error when deploying a Linux VM using template.

I renamed my Windows Server with few letters. But since it is taking the hostname with domain name (PC-14-xx.Hyperv.test) which is longer, I am always getting the error.

The specified computer name exceeds the maximum allowed computer name length (15).
Ensure that computer name length is within allowed limits, and then try again.

How to solve this problem?

Can I make VMM read hostname without the Domain name ?
