Shut down VM on SCVMM always stuck in stopping state.

Hi everyone,

Whenever I shut down a VM (using the shutdown button on the toolbar) on SCVMM it always seem to stuck in stopping state, I then have to log into the HyperV host directly and kill the VM using then stop-vm cmdlet and it works almost instantly,  However I don't want to do this every time I have to shutdown a VM. 

Does anyone why this is happening and how do i fix this?  Is this a bug with SCVMM?
