Hi,
I do have virtual machine - Windows Server 2012 which is my "vpnserver" (RRAS) for PPTP type of VPN.
The problem is that my "vpnserver" does not recieves GRE packets insifrom outside anymore, so VPN is not working anymore.
I do have System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012 SP1 and Windows Server 2012 in my environemnt.
All ICMP/TCP/UDP packets are working on network, but GRE packets simply does not pass.
It stopped working when I have reconfigured my virtual network environemtn in SCVMM
I had a "Standard switch" on Hyper-V hosts, and virtual machine "vpnserver" with PPTP protocol (which uses 1723 and GRE protocol), and everything worked.
I have reconfigured my network environment in SCVMM and now I do use Logical Switch / Logical Network / VMNetwork.
My logical network is setup as "network sites within this logical network are not connected" and I have one Network Side, with simple /24 subnet and VLAN where my VM should be placed.
I understand that there is a new feature "Network virtualization", which is used for multi-tenant environment, and it uses NVGRE behind. However I do not need this features.
My VM is directly connected to VMNetwork which is directly connected to LogicalNetwork and I have specified VLAN.
Please help to fix my GRE protocol to work again with this virtual machine.
Thank you
