SCVMM is unable to modify the network to connect a VM to. I am able to assign a network to the VMs using the Hyper-V manager but not using SCVMM 2008. Has anyone run across this? The error received when SCVMM tries to assign a VM to a network is Error 2911.
Error (2911)Insufficient resources are available to complete this operation on the servername.domain.com server.
(Not enough storage is available to complete this operation (0x8007000E))
Recommended Action
Ensure that the virtual machine host has sufficient memory and disk space to perform this action. Try the operation again.
This seems like it may be a permissions issue but I am not sure where to start. The host server which is also the SCVMM master server has 7 TB of free disk space and over 40 GB of free RAM.
