How can I activate IP on a nic in a VM, SCVMM 2012 R2 ?

Hi All,
I am using scvmm 2012 r2.  According to the link below,

says that Grant-SCIPaddress and Set-SCIPAddress do not automatically activate ip on the vm. Is there any way to activate it through powershell?
