The deployment of SLBMUX service withing SDN on SCVMM 2016 is failing at 99%. The failure caused by the parallel step (Pre-Install 3) from the Application deployment inside the Service Template. After digging into more and checking the Script running at Pre-Install3. We found there are 4 steps includes creating (Self Signed Certificate) if not already created, or try to create the certificate from CA, registers the (Self Signed Certificate), start the service, and at the end modifying WINRM envelope from 4000 to 5000 not sure for what. As soon as SLBMUX service starts on the SLB VM by the script, it breaks the network. After looking at the NetMon it is generating traffic from any of the servers in the network to an IP and flooding the network and causing the network outage.
Not sure what is being caused from the certificates or by the SLBMUX service.
