I have a cluster consisting of 4 WinServer Core v1803 with Hyper-V role. Using System Center VMM v1807 states that I am unable to migrate some VMs from the one servers to another servers, because the virtualization software on the host does not match the
version of the virtual machine's virtualization software on the source.
These Hyper-V hosts was updated yesterday and restarted, but it is not important, because the error was before.
More over, I am confused, a value of the version on the sources is "Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17650 for Skip Ahead" :)
But all nodes was deployed from zero into v1803 WinSrv Core!
versa migrate
Only one VM can migrate to any nodes. And at node4 I have identical VM which can migrate to any nodes!
Get-SCVMHost | ft Name, HyperVVersion
node4-dc1 10.0.17134.81
node1-dc1 10.0.17134.81
node2-dc1 10.0.17134.81
node3-dc1 10.0.17134.81
As a SCVMM manager in one case shows the correct value, and in the other, when explain error, is indicates a value, which in principle was never.
Can anyone explain what is happening? How to fix this, because VMs cannot migrate within cluster normaly ??!!
