My customer is considering to migrate VMware to Hyper-V, so we are doing VMM + hyper-V POC now.
They have a requirement which is to update patch to existing offline template (start VM, update and shutdown)
VMware has such feature. I know that VMST 2012 could do this but it only support Windows Server 2008R2.
Currently we are using WS 2012 R2
Do we have new version of VMST? Or any other suggestion to do this for 2012 R2? It will be the key feature to convince customer to migrate from VMware to Hyper-V.
