Over the past couple of weeks we had a couple of power outages that knocked out our R&D cluster. When the cluster was restored Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2 showed duplicates of various different machines that had no owner. We know not to delete the duplicates as it's been proven that deleting the duplicates actually deletes the VM it references.
The statuses very from missing, incomplete vm configuration, update failed , and unsupported cluster configuration. Most of these have Owner "Unknown".
We've used this in the past to remove the missing duplicate VMs from the database http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff641854.aspx.
So I was wondering if anyone knew of a way I could remove these other duplicates, through a similar process as described in the link above or any other way.
